At Searchlight, we take pride in using science to help you understand behavioral data around a person’s soft skills, cultural alignment, work motivations, and growth areas in order to confidently make unbiased hiring decisions and improve Quality of Hire. To continue doing this, Searchlight is now organized into two products, Predict and Validate:
Predict is our hiring solution that leverages this essential data to ensure that you make the right hires that stay and perform. Predict includes our Intake, References, Self-Assessments, and Reference Prospects products.
Validate is our post-hire solution that measures hiring outcomes to improve talent efficiency. Validate includes our Onboarding Guides, Automated New Hire and Manager Reflections, and Advanced Quality of Hire Analytics.
Together, they create a virtuous loop that enables you to develop an objective standard for what Quality of Hire means at your organization and how hiring with science can improve it.
Updated Candidate PDF Reports: We have improved our reports to help your hiring managers make more informed, data-driven hiring decisions. Our “Question-centric” PDF reports have been shortened from 30+ pages down to 8 pages – while retaining all critical information like a candidate’s Strengths and Growth Areas, Scorecard, and Searchlight Score. New Culture Alignment Questions: At Searchlight, we are constantly improving the science behind our product. For that reason, we are excited to announce changes to how we measure Culture Alignment based on leading research today that captures organizational culture values into six fundamental dimensions. Going forward, Culture Alignment will measure: Innovation, Feedback, Collaboration, Results Orientation, Customer Focus, and Attention to Detail. New Survey Experience: Improve completion rates with a more intuitive and user-friendly survey experience across all our products including References, Reflections, and Intake. This new experience is especially beneficial for mobile users by making navigation and response completion much smoother.
What is coming ahead
Scoring: We received feedback from you all that the way we communicate the Searchlight Score could be improved! We are researching ways to improve the predictive powers and readability of our Searchlight Score and Intake Match Score. If you are interested in giving us feedback, we’d love to talk.
